We have two pumps powering these two separate water features. Though they look like the same water source is feeding both waterfalls, they are actually completely separate systems.
We created fish caves that you can see in the bottom left corner of the picture. The fish can swim under the rocks to avoid predators, which are usually raccoons and herons.
We used left over stones to add to the existing stone and brick patio in the back yard. Now, there is somewhere to go and sit next to the beautiful water features.
This is what our DreamScape Water Features look like on the day we finish. The baby plants are in, covered by high quality bark chips and irrigated by a drip system.
This pic was taken @6 months after we installed this water feature and plants. The plants, which are irrigated by a drip system, are taking off! Humming birds come here every day to enjoy the flowers.
The waterfall - streams are so realistic that it is amazing to just stand next to them and listen to the different sounds the water makes. Some make deep gurgling sounds, some make loud splashes and some make quiet trickling sounds!
We also installed low voltage LED pond lights in this awesome pond and pondless waterfall. At night, it is a whole different experience... magical and enchanting.
This house is located in Newbury Park, Ca. The background mountains are some of the highest in the Los Angeles area. We love how the nature in the background blends with our naturalistic DreamScape Water Feature.
Our clients are so wonderful, and we try to customize each pond or waterfeature to make them unique and meaningful to their owners. This one has a statue of Mary right in the middle. When the plants fill in beneath and around the statue, it will appear as if she is in a grotto!
Before we installed this pond and pondless waterfall, the yard felt small, with nowhere to go. After we installed this DreamScape water feature, we planted up the surrounding borders and filled with with color and texture.
We used over 2000 lbs. of concrete to thoroughly reinforce the elevation walls of this water feature. We used tan mortar in all places where you might see it, so that it looked natural. This DreamScape water feature is super strong and will never settle, or break.
Sitting next to this waterfall is soothing and relaxing for my clients and their friends who come over.
With the water flowing toward the best view and sitting area, we incorporated Feng Shui elements into the design of this amazing DreamScape pond and water feature. The energy flows toward the house and occupants, enriching their lives in many seen and unseen ways.
